മഴയില്‍ കുതിര്‍ന്ന ചെക്ക്പോസ്റ്റ്..

പറംബിക്കുളം നാഷണല്‍ ഫോറസ്റ്റിലെക്കുള്ള ചെക്ക്പോസ്റ്റ്. ഞങ്ങള്‍ അവിടെ എത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ നല്ല മഴയായിരുന്നു. വാനില്‍ നിന്നൊരു ഷൊട്ട്.

The Lantern

Aug 19th is World Photography Day.

A Lantern for all the people around, to walk into the darkness and build a future that is bright.
A Lantern for the kids to grow up, not to stumble up on the dark steps that they need to climb.
A Lantern for Today and Tomorrow.

This was shot at K. Gudi Wildlife resort, 225 kms from Bangalore. There is no power there and the Diesel Generator will be switched off after 10 PM. This was shot with a tripod and ofcourse no flash. Dedicating this to all the photographers around the globe, to bring in their best

The Dawn at Palakkad

This is at KSRTC Bus stand in Palakkad. Happened to be there last Saturday for my Parambikulam Trip and this was the first time I could ever capture dawn with my camera. I dint waste any. Didnt use any Flash. Adjsuted the camera settings to the minimal, so that it won't shake and I will get just enough light. My machine obliged :). I would rate it one of my best. Look out at the man on the left side of the frame and the bus from the right side. Dont they have a slight sleepy feeling ?

My College Corridor

ഇങ്ങനെയാണെ എനിക്കു കെട്ടണ്ടാ..

“ ഹോ!! ഈ ഷിമ്മിച്ചനും നിഷാന്റിക്കും ഞാന്‍ വച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അവരാ എന്നെ തേനേ
പാലേ എന്നൊക്കെ പറഞ്ഞ് ഇവിടെ Bride's Maid -ആയി കൊണ്ട നിര്‍ത്തിച്ചെ. എന്നിട്ടിപ്പൊ എത്രനേരായി അച്ചന്റെ സുവിശേഷവും കേട്ട് ഈ പൂക്കൊട്ടയും പിടിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് നില്‍ക്കുന്നു. ഒന്നു കെട്ടിച്ചു വിടെന്റെ അച്ചാ‍... “

എന്റെ സുഹ്രുത്തിന്റെ കല്യാണത്തിനു കൊറെ നേരം നിന്നു മുഷിഞ്ഞ ഒരു സുന്ദരിക്കുട്ടി.

ചക്കപ്രളയം തന്നെ..

എന്റമ്മച്ചിയേ... ഇതെല്ലാം കൂടി എങ്ങനെ തിന്നു തീര്‍ക്കും...

പോസ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ കൂട്ടാ‍ക്കാത്ത ഒരു ശ്വാനവീരന്‍.

മഴചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ അന്വേഷിച്ചു പോയതിനിടയില്‍ വീണു കിട്ടിയതു. അതും പുട്ടുകുറ്റി വേണ്ടി വന്നു ഫ്രെയിമിലാക്കാന്‍. ഓടികളയുമോ എന്ന ഭയത്താല്‍ അടുത്തു പോകാനും പറ്റിയില്ല.

ഒരു കട്ടന്റെ ഗുട്ടന്‍സ്...

ഹായ് ... ഈ കോരിച്ചൊരിയുന്ന മഴയുടെ ആലസ്യവും നുകര്‍ന്ന് ഒരു വെല്ല* കാപ്പിയും അടിച്ചിങ്ങനെ ഇരിക്കാന്‍ എന്തു സുഖം.

*മലബാറില്‍ വെല്ലം എന്നാല്‍ ശര്‍ക്കരയാണ്. കട്ടനില്‍ വെല്ലം ചേര്‍ത്താല്‍ വെല്ലക്കാപ്പിയായി.

A shop in Ingo's Saturday Night Bazaar in Goa. I know that light bulb is a bit awkward and pointing to the eye, but it provided me the necessary light for the image and also couldn't avoid it.

Ray of Hope

One of the Best Pic I got in this Goa tour. The sky was cloudy, but the sun rays were coming down to the sea through some cloudy loopholes and it gave an yellowish tinge on the top of sea far away. I ahd to change my lenses, put on my zoom lenses fast, for else it would have gone. Bu thankfully I got it in the nick of time.
